Magda Adamowicz

Magda Adamowicz is a Senior Program Officer at Open Society Foundations Europe and Central Asia, based in Berlin. Previously, Magda worked in Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia, on supporting human rights groups and networks of human rights defenders. In particular, for the last 10 years, Magda has been pioneering OSF work on culture of care, incorporating wellbeing and psychosocial support into grant making. Now she is applying all her experience and ideas into developing a network and an infrastructure of connections, solidarity and mutual support for civic space activists in Europe. Outside of work, Magda makes sure to have enough time for yoga practice, photography of street art and walks with her energetic Jack Russel Terrier.
